Fly away, どんなに遠くても。Thursday marked the end of the best and worst four months of my life (Anderson people please don't get angry, you know I use the word 'best' a lot D=). I've met all sorts of amazing characters who have made the sleepless nights, insurmountable stress, and constant expenditure of money worthwhile. But enough of that, I should hurry up and recount the day before my keyboard gets wet from... Condensation. Yeah.
Common Foundation Graduation Party
Our final assignment: the HTI dossier! Mine folds out so even though it starts out as 21cm x 21cm, it's actually like 6km x 4km. Or something.
Anyway, after handing it in, almost everybody went home to change, leaving just me and Claud (at least until Wen Ling came later), bored and alone in the cold cold studio.
"Eh sialah, we two alone, like gay siol!"To pass the time, we watched Slipknot videos and Claud camwhored (I have like 30 pictures of him in my laptop now, talk about gay =.=). But saving the best for last, we played SNAP. Yes. Snap. Have you ever seen two seventeen-year-old boys play Snap? It's interesting, to say the least. Lots of shouting, swearing, and laughter. Oh, and Claud made me bleed with those savage nails of him. Crazy. Since when does Snap = bloodshed? The scar has yet to go away. =(
When everyone finally came back, we all went to the Vanda Room together. My Hei mask turned out to be epic fail and it ended up closer to the Joker's face. Lol. It actually fitted in pretty well with the Slipknot masks that Claud, Tom, Syed, and Alvin made. So Yoong Sheng thought I was a Slipknot member too. Niiiiiice. Therefore, when some of the finalists for Best Dressed turned out to be-
"The scary boys from Class 60!"-
Yoong Sheng forced me to go up as well. The catwalk thing was epic fail, I had no idea what to do, but it was so short I didn't have time to anyway.
In the end Ainsley's group won (COSPLAY KIAS) and Tom and Syed and the others were comforting me for us not winning. LOL?
Syai's group dance performance was pretty awesome. But there were parts he wasn't in, and seeing him shafted to the side, looking on at the others was pretty funny. Haha.
And then came the food. Haha you can look at the photos on Facebook to see just how hungry I was. =/
OH OH And while I had this like, gigantic mouthful of noodles in my... Mouth, Liyana walked up to me and asked,
"Eh, can we eat now?"HAHA LIYANA YOU MALAY YOU.
As usual I didn't make much use of the dance floor, mainly just standing around hanging out with Alvin, Tom, Syai, Claud, and the others and watching
them dance. Unless it was one of those times Syai pulled me into the circle and forced me to dance. D=
"Come on Khairi, release your inner beast!""I don't have
an inner beast!"But it was still fun though, in some odd way.
And Syai had a dance-off with Claud! It was freaking epic how all the design students formed a circle around them and cheered them on. Both of them were great, but Claud lost because the song stopped while he was dancing halfway. HAHA. Sorry Claud.
After a while, me, JX, and Wen Ling decided to go back to the studio for some, eh, fresh air(?). It was really nostalgic seeing the dimly lit studio at night. Even though as a DCMD student, I would still be using that particular studio, I just wouldn't be there with the same people.
But my reminiscing was rudely interrupted by the realization that we had left most of our stuff at the Vanda Room, so me and Wen Ling had no choice but to get them back (since JX was too lazy to come). All the way to the Vanda Room and even back to the studio, we loudly sang songs from that Rag Fair video, not caring who was present.
"Ore ni shitemirya kore de saigo no Lady
Eli, my love, so sweet~"I swear the punch was spiked.
All in all, it was an amazing day, and I'd give anything to be able to live it again. Thanks Class 59, for everything. When I'm feeling less sleepy/lazy, I'll make a proper thank-you post, so this'll have to do for now. Heh. 8D
